WALTHAM, Mass. – Ana Tantum (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) scored her 7th goal of the season in the 1st half, but 10th ranked Saint Rose scored twice in the 2nd half en route to a 3-1 victory over Bentley on Saturday afternoon.

Less than two minutes after Saint Rose took a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute on a goal by Jennifer Busk, Tantum scored the equalizer for the Falcons in the 18th minute.

Midfielder Elena Ochsenreither (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) drilled in a corner kick from the right corner, and Tantum fought through traffic in the penalty area to head the ball home.

The score remained that way into the second half, until the Golden Knights jumped in front on a 50th minute goal by Danae Kaldaridou  on a close range shot in the six-yard box. Saint Rose then added an insurance goal with a penalty kick goal from Amanda Vasquez in the 82nd minute.

Starting goalie Deirdre Macrorie (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) made six saves on the day for the Falcons, who are back in action on Tuesday at Le Moyne.
