    WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley women’s lacrosse team was one of 16 Division II schools to earn Academic Squad honors from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association, it was announced recently.

HS), sophomore Cory Geiger (Agawam/Agawam HS) and freshman Chelsea Larivee (Amherst, N.H./Souhegan HS) each scored four times as Bentley University used a season-high goal total en route to a 21-13 win over Saint Anselm College in Northeast-10 Conference women’s lacrosse match Tuesday night at Bentley. A total of ten players scored for the Falcons in the win.

    The 2009-10 academic year saw Bentley University capture Northeast-10 Conference championships in four sports, be represented in the NCAA Division II championships by teams or athletes in six sports, and finish in the top three in the Northeast-10 President’s Cup standings for the 24th straight year. But Bentley’s success doesn’t stop there. It carried over into the classroom where the Falcons also distinguished themselves.
