    Last weekend, the Bentley University women’s basketball team was in Philadelphia, where they split the first two contests of the season. Coach Barbara Stevens’ team is back on the road this weekend for a pair of games in Florida, the Falcons’ first trip to the Sunshine State since 2008. Bentley will be in Lakeland on Saturday for a 5:30 encounter with Florida Southern and in Fort Lauderdale Monday to take on Nova Southeastern University, also a 5:30 start.

    For the third straight year, Bentley University is ranked number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report, which was announced this week. Bentley, which shared the top spot in 2017, was the only institution to record an ASR of 99 for the second straight year. This marks the sixth straight year that Bentley has achieved an ASR of 97 or better and the ninth straight it was been above 90.
