WELLESLEY, Mass. – A victory in the meet-ending 200 yard freestyle relay lifted Bentley University to its sixth win in seven dual meets this season, 126-108 over host Babson College Wednesday night in men's college swimming and diving.

Sophomore Philip Chan (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier HS), juniors George Go (Manila, Philippines) and Michael Simoneau (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton Warrenville South HS) and senior Joe Frantel (Canandaigua, N.Y./Marcus Whitman HS) combined for a time of 1:28.53, besting Babson's quartet by about one and a quarter seconds. Bentley, which won only five of 13 events in the meet, also took third in the event, capturing 13 of a possible 17 points.

Bentley's individual winners were Go in the 100 fly (102.15), senior Patrick Ryan (Sudbury/Lincoln-Sudbury Reg. HS) in the 100 backstroke (57.83) and senior Mike Walsh (South Salem, N.Y./John Jay HS) in the one-meter diving, edging Babson's Ryan Pope 256.45-255.30.

Bentley's other victory came in the opening 400 medley relay, with Go, Chan, freshman Josh Witty (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos) and sophomore Steve Sylvia (Westerly, R.I./Westerly) prevailing in 3:42.95.
