For the second straight year, Bentley University’s Cal Meyers (Richfield, Wisc./Slinger HS) has been selected for the Men’s Golf Sport Excellence Award in the Northeast-10 Conference, an honor bestowed upon the conference’s premier scholar-athlete in each sport.
Four Bentley University teams have received 2017-18 Team Academic Excellence Awards from the Northeast-10 Conference, an award presented to the program in each of the conference’s varsity sports that achieved the highest grade point average.

The Bentley University Falcons were one of two teams to break 300 during Tuesday’s second round of the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf East/Atlantic Regional at The Resort at Glade Springs, and as a result, climbed five places in the standings into a tie for ninth with a two-day score of 304-299-603. The regional will conclude on Wednesday with Bentley teeing off in the final group (12:50-1:30 pm).
Led by freshman Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS), the Bentley University Falcons finished the opening day of the NCAA Division II East/Atlantic Men’s Golf Regional in a tie for 14th place. A total of 20 teams are participating in the three-day event at The Resort at Glade Springs.
The Bentley University men’s golf team will be one of the first six to tee off Monday morning when the NCAA Division II East/Atlantic Regional gets underway as the Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W.V. Tee times for the Falcons range from 7:30 am-8:10.
The field for the 2018 NCAA Division II regional golf tournaments was announced late Friday afternoon with Bentley University included for the eighth consecutive year and the 13th time in the last 17 years.
