Men’s Tennis Wins Second Straight, 4-3 over Saint Michael’s

Box Score COLCHESTER, Vt. – Bentley won its second straight match to begin the season after they went on the road and defeated Saint Michael's 4-3 on Saturday.

Albert Soukup clinched the win with a 6-4, 6-1 victory in No. 5 singles.

The Falcons rallied to take the match by winning four of six in singles after Saint Michael's gained the early advantage by winning the doubles point.

Ansh Chadha was victorious in No. 1 singles, defeating Julius Van Den Broek, 6-2, 6-2. The No. 3 match went to Dante Massetta in three sets, 7-5, 1-6, 7-5.

The No. 4 match was won by reigning NE10 Player of the Week Ryan Reda, 6-2, 6-2 over Jamie MacPherson.

That set the stage for Soukup to clinch the victory in No. 5 over Ferm Kopplemans.

Bentley will next play on October 4 at Franklin Pierce.
