    Sophomore right side Caitlin Corcoran (Trappe, Pa./Perkiomen Valley HS) hit .571 with eight kills and no errors, and five other Falcons made at least five kills, as Bentley University stretched its win streak to four with a 3-0 sweep of St. Michael’s College in Northeast-10 Conference women’s volleyball Friday night at the Dana Center. The scores were 25-8, 25-16 and 25-15.

    Freshman outside hitter Kirsten Segaline (Scottsdale, Ariz./Desert Mountain HS) put up a career-best 17 kills, 11 digs and two aces, and both sophomore outside hitter Dani Milner (Plano, Texas/ The Greenhill School) and junior setter Krista Campbell (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North HS) also posted double-doubles, as Bentley University recorded a 3-1 win over Assumption College Saturday morning in the Saint Anselm Hawk Invitational at Stoutenburgh Gym. The scores were 25-22, 21-25, 25-16 and 25-19.

    The Bentley University women's volleyball team is one of 118 Division II programs from across the country that earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 season. It's the fourth straight year that the Falcons have been recognized. It's the fourth straight year that the Falcons have been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
