    For the second straight year, Bentley University track standout Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS) has been named to the Google Cloud NCAA Division II Academic All-District 1 Women’s Track and Cross Country team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Her time of 56.74 seconds was not only her team’s best of the year but marked the fastest 400 posted in the Northeast-10 Conference this season.

Both were cited for their performance in Saturday’s Black and Gold Invitational at Bryant University.

  • Bentley Tops NCAA Academic Success Rate Report, Receives President’s Award for Academic Excellence

    Bentley University is tied for number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report. Of the three institutions who shared the top spot with a 98 percent ASR, Bentley is the only one that has a football program. In recognition of having a four-year ASR of 90 or better, Bentley received a “Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence” from the NCAA.
