    Bentley University freshman Sydney Hurwitz (Newton/Newton North HS) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Track Rookie of the Week following her outstanding performance in last Saturday’s Reggie Poyau Memorial at Brandeis University.

    Bentley University junior Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS) ran to victory in the 400 meters and scored in three other events to lead the Falcon women’s indoor track and field team during the Reggie Poyau Memorial at Brandeis University Saturday.
  • Bentley Tops NCAA Academic Success Rate Report, Receives President’s Award for Academic Excellence

    Bentley University is tied for number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report. Of the three institutions who shared the top spot with a 98 percent ASR, Bentley is the only one that has a football program. In recognition of having a four-year ASR of 90 or better, Bentley received a “Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence” from the NCAA.

    Recent Bentley University Tim Bolick (Hopkinton/Hopkinton), a 2017 CoSIDA Division II Academic All-America, and a pair of Falcon rising juniors, Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./ Smithfield HS) and Holt Sihvonen (Lebanon, Conn./Lyman Memorial HS), have been named to the 2017 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
