COLCHESTER, Vt. -- Senior Anne Kaduboski (Dedham, Mass./Dedham HS) and freshman Erin Campbell (Marshfield, Mass./Marshfield HS) each won two individual events and were part of the Falcons' victorious 200 yard medley relay team as the Bentley University women's swimming team improved to 7-0 with a 196-101 at St. Michael's College Thursday afternoon.
Bentley, which won 13 of 16 events, opened the meet with a winning effort of 1:55.10 in the 200 medley relay. Freshman Amy Shin (Lancaster, Mass./Nashoba Reg. HS) led off and was followed in the pool by Campbell, Kaduboski and sophomore Monika Drogosz (Unionville, Conn./Farmington HS).
Kaduboski, who owns the fastest 200 butterfly time in the Northeast-10 Conference this season, claimed wins in that event (2:11.41) as well as the 200 backstroke (2:12.82). Campbell, the reigning NE-10 Rookie of the Week, touched the wall first in the 200 breaststroke (2:35.31) and the 200 individual medley (2:21.61).
The list of Bentley winners included a quartet of sophomores. Taryn Dooley (Feeding Hills, Mass./Agawam HS) took the 100 back in 1:06.28, Jessica Hodsdon (Brewer, Maine/Brewer HS) captured the 100 breast (1:09.28), and divers Shelly D'Aleo (Enfield, Conn./Suffileld Academy) and Abby Mathews (Chelmsford, Mass./Chelmsford HS) also posted wins. Mathews' combined score of 395.65 in the two diving events qualified her for the NCAA Division II Championships.
Also recording wins were freshman Kellen Power (San Jose, Calif./Valley Christian HS) in the 100 butterfly (1:03.19), classmate Heather Exley (Oceanside, Calif./Vista HS) in the 500 freestyle (5:38.68) and junior Susie Boretti (Westford, Mass./Westford Academy) in the 1000 free (11:19.63).
Bentley is also on the road Sunday, for a dual meet against the College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y.
