Bentley Men’s Indoor & Outdoor Track Extend Streak for Academic Excellence to 8 Years

WALTHAM, Mass. – For the eighth straight year, both the Bentley University men's indoor and outdoor track and field teams have earned Team Academic Excellence Awards from the Northeast-10 Conference.

Coach Kevin Curtin's teams were cited for achieving a conference-best 3.380 grade point average during the 2016-17 academic year. Both have received the recognition each of the eight years since the award was created in 2010.

Every one of Bentley's 23 intercollegiate sports, including the Division I men's ice hockey team, achieved at least a 3.0 GPA during the year, the second straight year that Falcon athletic teams can make that claim.

The 100 percent success rate exceeds the Northeast-10's overall mark of 80 percent.
