The men's golf team at Bentley is making its second consecutive trip to the NCAA Division 2 East Regional tournament, and the Falcons will be following the lead of juniors Dan McQueen and Matt Michel into Monday's first round at Hershey (Pa.) Country Club.

Michel, a 2009 graduate of Danvers High, paces the Northeast-10 Conference champion Falcons with a 75.5 scoring average, while McQueen, a Masconomet Regional grad from Topsfield, follows at 76.6.

"It's exciting to be going back again, not a lot of teams get to do that,'' said Michel. "As a team we are in a very good spot and peaking at the right time.''

Michel started strong in the fall season, the low scorer in three events, including the NE-10 tournament, in which Bentley avenged its back nine collapse from the previous season to capture its first conference crown since 2007.
