December 4, 2017 Bentley Tops NCAA Academic Success Rate Report, Receives President’s Award for Academic Excellence Bentley University is tied for number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report. Of the three institutions who shared the top spot with a 98 percent ASR, Bentley is the only one that has a football program. In recognition of having a four-year ASR of 90 or better, Bentley received a “Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence” from the NCAA.

December 1, 2017 Ryan Selected for D2CCA All-Region 2nd-Team The honors continued for Bentley University wide receiver Austin Ryan (Foxborough/Foxborough HS) on Friday when the freshman standout was selected for the 2017 Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-East Region second team by the region’s sports information directors.
November 28, 2017 Lamothe Selected for Nason Award by the NEFW; Ryan Gains All-New England Honors Each year, the New England Football Writers presents the Jerry Nason Award for Senior Achievement to a graduating senior football player from a New England institution who succeeds in football against all odds. The 2017 recipient of the Nason Award is Bentley University defensive lineman Noah Lamothe (Weatogue, Conn./Simsbury HS).

Carens Award As he prepares for his 50th season as the only baseball coach in Bentley University history, Bob DeFelice will be honored for his work in another sport when the New England Football Writers present him with the 2017 George C. Carens Award on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
November 21, 2017 Ryan Selected as NE10 Rookie of the Year; Joined on All-NE10 1st Team by Athy & Brown Bentley University freshman wide receiver Austin Ryan (Foxborough/ Foxborough HS), who is tied for the most touchdown catches in Division II, was a triple-honoree when the Northeast-10 Conference handed out its postseason awards Tuesday.
