    Men’s basketball All-America Ryan Richmond (Toronto, Ont./Thomson Collegiate), record-breaking track and field standout Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS) and first-team Google Cloud Academic All-America Jack Hansbury (Tyngsboro/Chelmsford HS) were recently honored as the top senior-athletes in Bentley University’s Class of 2019.

    Recent Bentley University Summa Cum Laude graduate Jack Hansbury (Tyngsboro/Chelmsford HS) was named the Northeast-10 Conference Male Scholar Athlete of the Year Monday night when the conference held its annual Year-End Awards Banquet at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

  • Bentley Student-Athletes Have Highest Graduation Rate in Division II

    For the second straight year, Bentley University is ranked number one nationally in the latest NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate report, which was announced today. Bentley, with its highest ASR in the 13 years that the NCAA has been compiling the data, was alone at the top of the rankings, two points above the five institutions tied for second, after sharing the top position a year ago. This was the fifth straight year that Bentley has achieved an ASR of 97 or better and the eighth straight they’ve been above 90.
  • Sturm & Zlogar Lead Bentley Past AIC, 28-20, in Season Finale

    Sophomore quarterback Stephen Sturm (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley HS) threw for a season-high 301 yards and two TDs, and senior wide receiver Jordan Zlogar (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa HS) had the sixth most prolific receiving day in program history, as Bentley University closed out the season with a 28-20 win over American International College in Northeast-10 Conference football at Abdow Field Saturday afternoon.

    The Bentley University Falcons had their most productive offensive game of the young season on Saturday, scoring 30 points and amassing 376 yards total offense, but three costly turnovers resulted in the team dropping a 35-30 Homecoming Day decision to Merrimack College. That offense will be put to the test Saturday when the Falcons (1-2, 1-1 Northeast-10) travel to Brookville, N.Y. to take on 2-0 LIU Post in a 1 pm game at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
